JH Band Trip

Trip Date: April 09, 2026

Don't forget to dress for the concert!  Black band shirts, dress pants, and dress shoes. Bring comfortable pants to skate in and socks for the skates!

Students will report to the band room when they arrive at school. 

Location: Carthage, MO; 714 S Main St, Carthage, MO 64836

Cost: $10.00 (covers lunch and skating at Skateland, Webb City)

Students may bring extra money for concessions (Pizza and drink is provided)

Students will need their black Neosho Junior High band t-shirt and black dress pants for the performance. Students might choose to bring a pair of comfortable pants to skate in and long socks. 

Trip Details:

The 8th Grade and 7th Grade Concert Bands will travel to Carthage, MO, to perform at the Carthage Music Festival. Students will play prepared pieces for a clinician, who will provide feedback and work with the ensemble. Exploratory Band students are invited to attend. Concert dress will be the same as a regular concert, black band shirt, black dress pants, and black shoes.  We will be eating lunch and skating at Skateland, Webb City. Bring socks to wear with skates.

Trip Schedule:

7:30 AM – Band room opens

7:45 AM – Report to the band room (Attendance) 

8:00 AM – Load bus

8:15 AM – Depart for Carthage

9:00 AM – 8th Grade performance and clinic

10:00 AM – 7th Grade performance and clinic

11:30 AM – Lunch and skating at Skateland (Webb City)

1:30 PM – Load bus for return trip

2:00 PM – Arrive at Neosho Junior High
