Full Band Camp Begins

Band Camp begins next week, and we are excited to get everyone back together!

Schedule

Monday - (Freshmen, ALL Leadership, ALL Percussion, & ALL Color Guard)

• 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM

• We will begin in the high school band room at 8:30 AM.

Tuesday–Friday (FULL Band)

• 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

• We will begin Tuesday in the high school band room at 8:30 AM.

  
  

Meals

• Breakfast: 6:30–7:30 AM each day at the Endzone Facility

• Lunch: 12:00–1:00 PM each day in the cafeteria

Both breakfast and lunch are provided free of charge for all students.

We expect students to remain on campus throughout the day.  On Friday only, students may leave campus during lunch if they would like to plan a section lunch and return afterward.  This is completely optional—students are welcome to stay and enjoy the free lunch provided on campus.

Attendance

Band camp is an extremely important part of our season.  Every rehearsal builds upon the previous one.  Each day of camp is the equivalent to a week and a half of class time.  Consistent attendance is essential for both individual success and the success of the entire band.  If your student must miss any portion of camp due to an unavoidable conflict, then please communicate with the directors as soon as possible.  Thank you for helping us get the season off to a great start.

What to Bring

Please make sure students bring:

• Their Instrument

• Music (if they have it)

• Binder

• Water Bottle

• Comfortable (school appropriate) athletic clothes

• Tennis shoes

• Sunscreen

• Hats would not be a bad idea if you have one

• A great attitude & work ethic!

We will be outside in the mornings and inside during the afternoons, so please dress accordingly.  A

FinalForms Reminder

Please make sure your student has completed FinalForms and has a green check mark for every required item. Students must have all required forms completed in order to participate in Full Band Camp.

Booster Meeting

There will be a Band Booster Meeting on Tuesday at 6:00 PM in the high school band room. We hope to see you there!
