We are heading into our second full week of band camp, and we have a lot to accomplish! It’s going to be a busy and exciting week as we prepare for our first public performance of the 2026 season at the Wildcat Kickoff this Saturday, August 15th.
WILDCAT KICKOFF SATURDAY AUGUST 15
FREE FOOD:5:00–5:30 PM at Bob Anderson Stadium
Students should report to theband room at 6:00 PMwith their instrument and wearing Uniform B:
Khaki/tan shorts
2026 marching show shirt
Tennis shoes
The event at Bob Anderson Stadium should last until approximately 8:30 PM.
THIS WEEK AT BAND CAMP
Students will rehearse 8:00 AM–5:00 PM throughout the week.
Football will be finishing practice so please stay out of their way without disruption as you make your way to the field.
Breakfast will be provided daily at the endzone facility concession stand from 7-8am.
Lunch will be provided daily in the cafeteria from12-1pm.
UNIFORM FITTINGS
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, students will have their marching band uniform fittings from 5:15–6:30 PM.
During fittings, students will:
Receive their 2026 show shirt
Receive their water bottle, gloves, shoes, and any other items they ordered
Be fitted for their marching uniform
Help get their uniform properly organized and onto the semi trailer
Tuesday August 11 - Sophomores / Seniors
Wednesday August 12 - Freshmen
Thursday August 13 - Juniors
Can’t make your assigned night? No problem! Please attend one of the other two fitting nights.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
We are looking for enthusiastic band parents and family members to help make the uniform fitting process run smoothly!
There are many ways to help, including:
Measuring and sizing uniforms
Hemming pants
Ironing
Shoe polishing
Organizing uniform pieces
Assisting students during fittings
No special skills or experience are needed! We’ll show you what to do.
Whether you can help for one evening or all three, your support makes a huge difference and helps ensure every student is ready for a fantastic season.
