End of the Band Year Dates

We are getting to the end of not just the school year, but also the band year. Here are some important reminders of dates to conclude the year:
Monday April 27: Incoming 6th Grade Band Meeting @5pm & 6:30pm in the MS Band Room
If you are the parent of a current 5th grader who would like to join band then please attend one of these meetings. We will discuss the class as well as what instrument the student would play and how to go about getting an instrument.
Tuesday April 28: High School Awards Concert @6pm in the Freeman Health System Performing Arts Center
Students should arrive by 5:30pm in their concert black and white dress clothes.
Wednesday April 29-Thursday April 30: MSHSAA State Solo/Ensemble Contest
Thursday April 30: JH & MS Awards Concert @6pm in the Freeman Health System Performing Arts Center.
Students should arrive by 5:30pm in concert dress clothes.
Tuesday May 5, Thursday May 7, and Tuesday May 12: Marching Primers for ALL current 8-11 students planning to be part of the Wildcat Pride Marching Band for the 2026-2027 school year.
Wednesday May 13: MS G3 Trip
Students will eat school lunch and then we will depart to G3 in Carthage. We will be back by the end of the school day.
Thursday May 14: Graduation 7:30pm
Students should arrive by 6:30pm in their concert black and white dress clothes
Friday May 15: MS & JH Blackbelt Lunch
