SPRING CONCERT : This is just a reminder to mark your calendars for the NJH Spring concert that will feature the concert bands, jazz bands, and exploratory band. Students will need to wear their black NJH band t-shirt, black dress pants, and dress shoes. (Shirt provided by the band office, $10.00 per student.) Ladies may wear skirts but they need to be knee length or longer (while seated) with black leggings, tights, or hose. Students will arrive at 5:00 pm. To show support for all our performers, students are required to stay for the entire performance.
MUSIC FESTIVALS: Concert dress will be the same expectation as the Spring concert. They will need their black Neosho Junior High Band t-shirt and black dress pants for the performance. More information about performance times will be made available as we approach the events. The Wildcat Espressivo Festival will be hosted in the Neosho Freeman Health System PAC at Neosho High School and we have invited talented musicians to work with the students and judge the festival. This will be an educational opportunity for our Junior High students to perform, receive a contest rating, and receive feedback from leading musicians in the area. This is also an opportunity for the JH students to hear their peers perform.
BAND T-SHIRTS: The NJH band t-shirt, black dress pants, and dress shoes will be the uniform for all concerts and field trips. A NJH band shirt has been ordered for all band students, Shirts cost $10.00 and were handed out before the first concert. Money can be turned into the band office.
