Band Extravaganza!

Our first annual Band Extravaganza! featuring all Neosho instrumental ensembles will be held Saturday, October 12th. This will be a major celebration performance held at Bob Anderson Stadium. All family and friends are welcome to attend. The schedule is below.

HS students

10am - High School band students on practice field for show work through

12pm - Lunch Break

1:45pm - Begin getting into uniform (ambassadors and leadership assist JH / MS)

2:15pm - Warm-up / Tune (orchestra arrive at this time, get instruments and begin tuning)

2:45pm - Troop to the stadium

JH students - Wear JH Band T-Shirt, Khakis, and tennis shoes.

PLEASE BRING YOUR INSTRUMENT HOME AFTER SCHOOL ON FRIDAY

1:45 - Report to Neosho High School (check-in with a director)

Begin uncasing instruments in the gym

(HS Band Ambassadors and Leadership will assist and direct)

2:00 - Warm-up outside

2:10 - Concert Band run-through/spot check Hard Rock Fanfare

2:20 - Symphonic Band run-through/spot check Flash

2:30 - Seated in bleachers of stadium

MS students - Wear your pod shirt, or Neosho shirt, or dress nice

PLEASE BRING YOUR INSTRUMENT HOME AFTER SCHOOL ON FRIDAY

2:15 - Report to Neosho High School (check-in with a director)

Begin uncasing instruments in the gym

2:30 - Warm-up with HS ambassadors and leadership

2:45 - Move to field

3:00 Event begins, order of performance:

• Full 6th Grade Band

• JH Concert Band

• JH Symphonic Band

• JH Jazz Band

• HS Jazz Band

• HS Orchestra

• HS Marching Band

4:30 ‘ish’ Event ends, student pick-up begins
