JH Honor Band Audition Results

Over the weekend we had 49 auditions out of over 600 students at Joplin High School for the Southwest Missouri Music Educator's Association Honor Band auditions. Our program broke another school record which was set last year. Last year we had 24 students make this band (one away from having more than any other school participating). This year we had 27 successful auditions making the band (5 of which earned 1st chair overall) and an additional 6 listed as an honorable mention alternate spot.
