Seneca Marching Festival

Our first competition of 2015 is upon us and will be the Seneca Marching Festival on Saturday, September 26 in Seneca, MO! The schedule for the day is as follows:

12:00 p.m. – Meet at the high school for a short rehearsal on the field

1:30 p.m. – Load the bus and trailers

1:45 p.m. – Depart high school

2:00 p.m. – Arrive at Seneca High School, check-in, and unload the trailer

2:20 p.m. – Enter stadium to watch Strafford and Aurora performances

3:00 p.m. – Change into Uniform

3:50 p.m. – Move to warm-up area

4:00 p.m. – Warm-up and Tune

4:15 p.m. – Move to performance staging area

4:20 p.m. – NEOSHO WILDCAT PRIDE MARCHING BAND PERFORMS!

4:30 p.m. – Change out of uniform and eat a meal provided by the boosters

5:15 p.m. – Enter stadium and listen to prelim awards and placements

6:00-8p.m. – Finals Warmups and Performances (Our Placement will be announced

shortly after Prelim Awards)

8:20 p.m. – Finals Awards (Drum Majors Only)

After Retreat immediately load bus, trailers, and depart

9:20 p.m.’ish’ – Arrive in Neosho. Unload bus, and trailer.

What you need to bring: your uniform, gloves, shoes, black socks, black athletic shorts, your band shirt, your instrument, mallets, sticks, reeds, flags, rifles, money for concessions, clothes to change into etc.

This performance will be at the Seneca Football Field next to the Elementary School in Seneca, MO. Admission to the event is $5. The band booster organization will provide a meal for the students.

Be courteous to other groups and to each other! Remember, you are representing the band, music department, the school, and all of Neosho! Please conduct yourselves accordingly!
