On Friday, October 27th we will be traveling to Kansas City to watch the Kansas City Symphony in an open dress rehearsal preparing for their performance of Shostakovich's First Violin Concerto, Dvorak's 8th Symphony, and Suk's Fantastic Scherzo. High School students in both band and orchestra are invited to attend to watch such outstanding performers. The Bands of America St. Louis Super Regional, our final competition of the season, is just under a month away. We do not yet have our schedule for that event as it is one of the largest super regionals BOA puts on and toward the end of their season. However, we do know that we are performing on Friday this year in Block A. So our performance will be sometime between 10:30am and 1:15pm on October 20th.
