MSSU Invite

Hope your spring break is going well. I just received this information from Mr. Linn of MSSU, if you are interested in a band opportunity tonight or tomorrow.

--------------------- I just wanted to invite you to a couple informal band events happening at MSSU this week. We have Dr. Frank Tracz, Director of Bands at Kansas State University, spending a few days with us. You all are invited to:

Open rehearsal with Dr. Frank Tracz and the MSSU Wind Ensemble Wednesday, March 11th - 7:30 - 9:30 pm in Phinney Rehearsal Hall in the Fine Arts Building on MSSU's campus. Dr. Tracz will be guest conducting Poem, by John Frantzen. The Wind Ensemble will also be rehearsing Chang Su KOH's Cherry Blossom Brilliance, Lowell Liebermann's Flute Concerto with guest soloist Melanie Crider, and 3 Miniatures by Anthony Plog with Guest tuba soloist and MSSU faculty, Mr. Xan Perkins. Joint Concert: Joplin HS Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble, and the MSSU Concert Band and Wind Ensemble Thursday, March 12th - 7pm, Joplin East Middle School - 4594 E. 20th Street, Joplin, MO (please enter the auditorium behind the building)
