REGULAR REHEARSAL--     JULY 16TH from 1pm to 4pm

                                             JULY 23RD from 1pm to 4pm

You will have the next week, July 27th through July 31st off unless Rogers needs you to help around the band room to prepare for the upcoming band camp.  Details will be sent out in advance if she needs your assistance.

Keep practicing everything you have been given.  It is very important that you don't let this just sit around without practicing over this break.  Be Responsible young women!

Rifles will be rehearsing for 1 hour at the last four rehearsals so plan on staying 1 hour later than the rest of the guard.  It is SUPER important that this happens.  Rifle is not easy to learn so your attendance is crucial!

Have a great fourth of July and remember I love you and treasure you so make smart decisions over the break.  Think responsibly!!!

I just wanted to let everyone know that our groups in the band program are doing a great job!

The High School Jazz Band received a 1- rating at the PSU Jazz Festival--Megan and Joe received outstanding musicianship awards. Other students receiving outstanding soloist awards this year are Olivia, Spencer, Hal, and Megan. I'm so proud of all of you!

The ladies in the inaugural winter guard are making us proud! They were promoted after their very first competition! And the floor crew have been doing a great job too! Their last thee competitions are March 14, 21, and 28.

On March 7 some of our 6th and 7th graders took solos and ensembles to a festival in Monett. We had 38 superior ratings and 27 excellent rating. We also had 10 students receiving outstanding musician awards! Way to go middle school band students--you make us all proud! Keep up the good work!

High school students are getting ready for State Band Festival on Tuesday, March 24th, and for District solos and ensembles on Friday, April 3. We entered a record number of solos and ensembles for our program--30 solos and 9 small ensembles.

Keep checking the site for more updates and information!
